First things first, whomever wrote the following letter is NOT smarter than a 5th grader. I know 8 and 9 year olds who could compose their thoughts more concisely, clearly, and correctly. This is not a letter anyone should be sending to a public official. This should be sent to a friend or relative as the first (very rough) draft, and then tweaked and checked for accuracy. Also, why does Trista need a ghostwriter to convey HER own emotions, feelings, and thoughts? If you were upset at the possibility of Justin not writing his own press releases, you should be just as upset that Trista couldn't even be bothered to advocate for her own child in her own voice. pfffttt...
If I were sending the above to someone, it'd probably go something like this:
Dear Governor LePage: (you and him are NOT on a first-name basis, and this is supposed to be a formal letter)
Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Trista Reynolds; I am the mother of Ayla Bell Reynolds. Ayla has been missing since December 2011. She was just 20 months old at the time of her disappearance. Waterville and Maine State Police have recently stated that the chances of her being found alive are slim. In your position as the state of Maine's leading public official, I believe that you are uniquely positioned to help advocate for justice on behalf of my little girl.
There have been no arrests in this case. While I understand that law enforcement agencies are doing the best they can under the circumstances, I am still left with frequent feelings of frustration and anger because more needs to be done. As the former mayor of Waterville, the city from which Ayla went missing, I am sure you understand the need for a community to collectively move on after tragedy occurs. Until an arrest is made, and the process of securing justice for Ayla begin, there can be no healing.
I urge you to speak to prosecutors and investigators on Ayla's behalf. I respectfully ask that you say a few words to the press about Ayla Reynolds. It would send a signal to the people of Maine that you are working with us toward justice for Ayla. I appreciate you taking the time to read this letter, and I hope to hear from you soon.
Sincerely,
YOUR SIGNATURE GOES ABOVE YOUR TYPED NAME, NOT BELOW IT. PLEASE DON'T HAVE ANY MORE CHILDREN. I DON'T THINK THERE'S MUCH YOU CAN TEACH THEM BEYOND THEIR ABC's AND 123's!
Trista Reynolds
As for the actual content of the letter, well...I'll address the things that jumped out at me:
1. Your daughter of "less than two years" is STILL and ALWAYS will be your daughter. Maybe you meant to describe your daughter as being less than two years old, but the way the letter currently reads is disgusting. Instead of saying her age, you're describing how long you were a "mother" to her.
2. You already know why there have been no arrests. It's pretty shitty to disregard all of the information that law enforcement has shared with you, and then go over their heads. The governor cannot "implore" investigators to reveal any more of their investigation than they already have. What you really want to know is why things are not going the way you want or expect them to...the governor cannot answer such a silly question.
3. Why would you use the phrase "called out" in a formal letter to a public official? You "called out" MSP, but realize that they could "call you out" for many things. They're doing their jobs as law enforcement officers; all of this started because you failed to do your job as a parent.
4. It's quite obvious that more needs to be done, because Ayla has not been found yet. What suggestions do you have? If you want to direct people to do more, at least have some ideas about what you want them to do.
5. Governor LePage, as the former mayor of Waterville may very well know how and why a community needs to be able to move on. It doesn't take the former mayor of a city to know that. Give examples of other tragedies, and explain why after only about 6 months you are so eager to "move on."
6. You have lots of "illusions" about your life. You've persuaded yourself that you're a good mother, that Justin was abusive to your child and in love with you, and many other things.
7. Not one time in the entire letter do you say anything about FINDING AYLA. That's what should be of the utmost importance right now, and it is what law enforcement is focusing on. Do you have a problem with AYLA BEING FOUND?
8. Letters to the governor are usually to complain or to call the governor to action. This letter calls the governor to action, but it fails to state exactly what is wanted from or of the governor. Speaking to the press about Ayla is what seems to be the request here, but what would the governor say? Could the governor say anything that has not been said: law enforcement officials are committed to finding Ayla and securing justice for her?
9. Did you really sign your name below your name? They left a very obvious space for you to sign in! I'm just like o_O. Why didn't the person who scanned this have her fix it first? I know I already mentioned this above, but it's shocking at how much some people don't know. Thank GOD for public schools and access to higher education.
The main thing that bothers me about this letter:
Law enforcement has not ruled out ANYONE as a suspect. It would not be wise for the governor to sort of "endorse" the Reynolds family at this point in time. He shouldn't be weighing in on one side or the other; if he's going to speak, it has to be ONLY for Ayla. It would be kind of hard to project objectivity if he speaks at the request of the Reynolds family. Also, why would the governor speak to law enforcement officials and/or investigators? Is he a sworn law enforcement officer? He would not step in to direct their investigation. If Trista feels as though the police officers or investigators are not doing their jobs, then someone should direct her to the right place to complain. Law enforcement agencies usually have offices of internal affairs, and starting a formal complaint would be a great start to have issues addressed. How dumb would the governor look if he weighs in and then the Reynolds are found to have done something? I'm not saying that WILL be the case, but if it is, the governor has no credibility. It's the same reason why President Obama does not usually weigh in on local politics...think about it....
Good day, folks!!!
Update1: Notice how the above letter is no longer being used as the "petition" to Governor LePage? You're welcome.
Really don't know what the governor could /would do, except get an aide to write a warm and fuzzy letter ( we feel for you ) and rubber stamp his signature.
ReplyDeleteThe MSP present their case to the DA, the DA decides what to do,if weak case, no case, no prosecution. Happens. Everywhere.
Thing is, we don't know what they have.
Forensic astrology charts don't cut the mustard.
Heeheehee. No, forensic astrology charts don't. ;)
DeleteThe letter was writen, according to Jeff, by the great "Wordman",.. ironic isn't it.
ReplyDeleteWhen I read it, I just sighed and shook my head.
Jeff probably IS Wordman, but okay. Either way, whoever wrote the letter should still be in 2nd grade.
DeleteAgreed...
ReplyDeleteUgh "...for my baby's demise"
How does Trista not see the stupidity in calling MSP heroes while at the same time saying she has called them out and is frustrated with them because there have been no arrests? And now she is trying to go over their heads? Does she really think they should just start arresting people without evidence? Just because she says so? That they should arrest people even though they have no proof a crime has been committed? No proof Ayla is dead? Is LE really just letting criminals walk the streets with proof that a crime has been committed and Trista is the only one they have told? And that is the only thing she has not told the whole entire world. Because she has had no problem telling everyone EVERYTHING else.
ReplyDeleteI doubt that a leter to the Governor was even a thought of Trista's.
DeleteSeems like they overlooked an important FACT stated by McCausland at the PC.
It is premature to even speculate about an arrest.
Anon - "Is LE really just letting criminals walk the streets with proof that a crime has been committed and Trista is the only one they have told?"
DeleteWORD!
I too think that Wordman is Jeff Hanson.
ReplyDeleteI noticed that on Grifter Gifford's blog someone posted a question asking who Wordman is.
The answer posted there was that: "Wordman is Jeff's partner."
So what does that mean? Does it mean that Wordman is Jeff's partner as in domestic partner? I note that Wordman describes himself as a male in his blogger profile.
All I can figure out at this point is that Wordman must be Jeff's gay partner, or else Wordman is Jeff himself. Their writing styles are so similar, it causes me to think that Jeff is using the name Wordman as a screen name, and then lies about it.
wordman could be the person's last name. duh.
Deleteand Obscure could be JSTL's last name :)
DeleteAyla needs to be looked for, and these horrid people like Tori and Jeff are trying desperately to prevent that.
ReplyDeleteTrista has been telling people since right after Ayla went missing that she wants to move away and start her life over somewhere else. She even wrote on her FB page that she wants to leave Portland and start her life fresh somewhere else. So my opinion is that this is the reason why she is in such a rush to get Ayla viewed as dead, and pin it on Justin--- so that she can move away and start her life over with AYLA.
No one will find Ayla unless folks keep their eyes open and actually look for her. The only people doing that at this point are the paternal family working through This Little Light of Maine. But is that enough? I fear that Ayla will never be found yet is waiting in anguish to be reunited with ALL of her loved ones.
Read this great opinion piece written by a child who was the victim of a custody abduction:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/george-molho/miguel-morin-kidnapping_b_1350599.html
I dont know how you can think that Trista has forced LE into believing that Ayla is dead. She has been told that by LE not the other way around. If Trista didnt take her child give me one reason that she would think she is alive after 5 months? LE told her evidence, searches,Tips, interviews, that nothing leads them to believe that she is alive,Why do people think they know more than LE does? Have you seen the blood? Have you seen the blood results? Do you know what evidence they have?Have you heard the interviews,Do you know what tips they followed up on? Dont you think LE knows more than all of us do? I wont pretend that I know more than LE.I dont know how others can do that either. They have done the investigation not us.And they have said unlikely that Ayla is alive.I dont think Tori or Jeff have anything to do with people not looking for Ayla.It is what LE tells the public that matters. Most of the public stopped when Justin wouldnt do interviews. He lost the public right there.Tori and Jeff did not have anything to do with the public thinking Ayla was harmed,LE did,People are not that stupid. And your going to find out that LE isnt stupid either. But I guess you know more than them so believe what you want.
DeleteLE did not say they do not have hopes of finding Ayla alive based on evidence, tips, searches and interviews. LE said based on the amount of time that has passed we do not have high hopes of finding Ayla alive. So it is you who is presuming to know what LE is thinking.
DeleteTime passing can make any ones hopes fade. (Except usually the family) However they said they will continue on. They will not give up and this is an on going case.
And as far as Tori, Jeff and Trista they absolutely have to do with the public not looking. If the public thinks the family believes Ayla is dead why should they look. They will start to forget this sad case and move on.
And Justin has done interviews. Look them up. Just not over and over. And not ones telling the public I just want "closure", "a proper burial". And not ones bashing Ayla's maternal family. And engaging in this war they have created. Silly him for refusing to do that. Yeah your right he should get out there and bash away like the rest of them. Worry more about what is being said about himself and try to defend it. Those will make great stories for his daughter to look up some day. Look what daddy said here. And mommy said there. But yeah your right what a horrible guy.

McClausland CLEARLY stated:
"Based on EVERYTHING WE KNOW, and the THOUSANDS OF HOURS OF INVESTIGATION, the ELEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY-SEVEN LEADS that have come in, been received and acted on, the SEARCHES, the DIVES, and the EVIDENCE GATHERED at this point, WE THINK IT IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY THAT AYLA REYNOLDS WILL BE FOUND ALIVE AT THIS POINT. NOTHING POINTS IN THAT DIRECTION."
I suggest that you listen carefully to the full press conference:

I have a question that is off-topic. Regarding the previous discussion about the billboards put up by This Little Light of Maine, I recall that there is a billboard in Oregon and California? Could someone please tell me where the locations are of these billboards? I have not seen any billboards for Ayla around here. I figured that I just have not been in the right places where they are. Thanks!
DeleteSure! San francisco bay bridge. One facing each direction. Is the highway called the 440? Not sure i remember off the top of my head. It's adigital board and Aylas comes up every 7th click I think. In oregon there are/were at least 3 and I will double check the dates they were running for you. CA definitely currently has the one running that I mentioned though. Be sure to note the Little light of Maine logo, bottom left. And post a picture! Thanks so much for your help.
DeleteThank you for your reply. I look forward to knowing where the three in Oregon are/were. I figured at least one would be along the I-5 corridor that runs from Canada to Mexico.
DeleteDid you? I'm not sure why. That's a presumption you probably shouldn't make in the future. Sometimes we luck out and get really great spots and sometimes the high traffic highways are sold out for a year at a time. It's really not up to us where they go considering that we only started getting billboards up in April of 2011 and more often than not those spots have been purchased 6 months or more in advance. Do you have experience in this type of business? If you have tips on how to bump highly paid ads off the spots then I'd be glad to hear them. :) thanks in advance for the help forthcoming. A
DeleteNo, I do not have any experience in the billboard business. My reason for speculating that the I-5 corridor would be a likely spot for a missing child billboard is simply because it is such a high traffic route, and it is maintained by the three Pacific coast states--California, Oregon, and Washington. With "at least three" billboards in the state of Oregon, and considering that most of the population of Oregon is clustered in the Willamette Valley and along the coast, interstate 5 seemed like a reasonable guess. I do know that there have been billboards put up fairly recently along the main highways--including I-5--for Oregon's missing child, Kyron Horman; some of the billboards were paid for by Kyron's mother, Desiree Young. The billboards mentioned in this article are being done in correlation with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children:
Deletehttp://www.kgw.com/news/Hi-tech-Ore-billboards-focus-on-missing-kids-152667345.html
I was hoping that Ayla is one of the featured children; there are 100 children that cycle through just this one billboard. Here is the Woodburn Company Stores' contact information:

DeleteWe did have at about 5 billboards up in Oregon, but currently what happens is when those open spots become filled with paying customers we lose our spot until something becomes available again. The whole process takes a lot of time just continuing to contact each market over and over every month. We are currently working on getting more billboards up again as they become open, but we never have control of where and when...it's all dependent upon what is open b/c these are donated spots, and by all means, we appreciate your insight on where to try to get a billboard up for Ayla! Thank you for your recent posts! :)
Cristine, where were the five billboards previously located in Oregon? Thank you for your response!

I find it funny that as soon as it was discovered Trista was not in Portland where she said she was when Ayla disappeared, they planted the seed that they believed Ayla had been missing a week earlier. I'm sure the neighbor did hear a car door shutting that morning...by whomever took Ayla. I believe Trista knows who was threatening to take Ayla...and I believe threats are the reason Justin and family have not talked. If LE thinks what the DiPietros have to say doesn't pass the straight-faced test, what do they call what comes out of Trista's mouth? Who, cannot take a lie detector test because of a medical condition? Becca can't take one because of meds? How convenient. That last performance on camera didn't pass the straight face test.
ReplyDeleteWell said, Anonymous. This is why I'd like to know more about their straight face test. Of course, MSP haven't said anything about anyone actually passing a straight face test, either. So, back up a minute, and ask self this, 'Self, why would MSP single out one person and announce his failure to pass the straight face test?
DeleteIs it the pattern left by the polygraph needle? Should it have been a happy face design - like a WalMart sticker or an emoticon?

"The straight face test (also laugh test or giggle test) is a test of whether something is legitimate or serious based on whether a given statement or legal argument can be made sincerely, without any compulsion to laugh. The phrase goes back to about 1987."
DeleteApparently, any suggestion of Ayla being kidnapped makes McCausland feel like laughing because he suspects she is deceased. :/

@the space between, you say... The phrase goes back to about 1987.
DeleteThat helped jiggle my memory, but I don't recall a single instance where the phrase was used in a public address, legal venue, or political discourse.
It's a joke, from a cartoon - a compassionate father practices his straight-face look in the mirror before reprimanding his child.
It's a sign of advanced behavior, realizing the face communicates more to the child than the spoken words. The father is more prone to displaying sadness during the task of discipline than the mother. Read a Psych 101 book. When is it a smile, a frown, or signal of psychotic behavior?

I still like how everyone freaked out when Justin said Ayla did NOT meet her "demise" in his house. They made such a big deal out of him using that word and now they are using it.... I'd still love to know why they are so against Ayla being found!
ReplyDeleteYou may not agree with the letter or like how it was written, but I think doing something to get answers is better than doing nothing. At least someone is trying to keep Aylas name in the public.
ReplyDelete"At least someone is trying to keep Ayla's name in the public"??? You mean like her dad and several hundreds of volunteers who work everyday to get her name and face across the country through flyers to every bus station, airport, and every other random place they can think of a child might be spotted. Hours contacting celebrities , foundations, organizations that also put up missing children's names and faces in many different forms. Putting her name across the country through facebook, youtube, twitter, craigslist, getting businesses to attach business cards to all mailings. So do you mean besides those people who work with and for Ayla's dad. He has to approve all they do. And he does. Tell me again what Trista is doing besides going on the news or asking people to please help her find out what happened to her "dead" child? Because let's be very clear here. All of the above volunteers including Justin are looking for a live child. They give Ayla hope. They are doing something positive. Not trying to turn the public away from looking at children's faces. To see and actually find a live child. So I choose to disagree with the letter. And think it was poorly written. And the answers it is asking for to me are a very sad testament to the person who wrote it. What parent hopes and wishes for those kinds of answers EVER.
Delete@Anonymous 10.6.12 (first anon reply)
DeleteI agree with you 100%.
Why would you want to keep Ayla's name in the news when you believe she is dead? What does Trista expect the governor to do, tell Le they need to arrest Justin so Trista can get on with her life?
Why is Trista more obsessed with Justin being found guilty of murdering Ayla, than finding Ayla?
signed: getrealpeople
Pfffft. Doing nothing? You've definitely got the wrong parent pegged on that one. Her father quietly deals with the daily ups and downs of believing we'll find her safe and sound and being a wreck over the what ifs. The doing isn't happening in front of cameras. It's happening in front of computers, phones, + printers.
DeleteThe wording of the letter - I don't see where it makes any difference. If this was Trista's idea (I doubt), I would recommend composing a new letter addressed to her congressional representative (State and Federal). At that level, the communication will be determined to be investigative or informational. So, please be careful by determining what it is you are asking the congressperson to do. All complaints receive a congressional review.
ReplyDeleteTrista, if this letter is you, welcome back to the real world. Work on keeping your own memories and stop listening to others tell you what 'it' means.

I agree Anon. The whole charade by the Reynolds family on video the day of the last LE press conference was ludicrous. Those people are crazy if they think they can engage in play acting like that on camera and no one is supposed to notice! They challenge the paternal family's credibility, all the while lying and acting and manipulating. The Reynolds family is too shady to convince me of anything.
ReplyDeleteNOBODY is AGAINST Ayla being found, unless you are talking about justin.
ReplyDelete@are you kidding me
DeleteWhen people push for closure on a case they are very much telling the public at large to no longer look for a live child. When that child's own mother and family spends so much time trying to convince the public they believe there is no hope they are also convincing the public there is no hope for a live child to be found. And I do not care what LE says. Statistics say that she is most likely alive. Now whether she will be found or not that is questionable. But there is no evidence showing this child is dead. She is out there somewhere and this mom wants to give up on her. And for some reason wants the public to also give up on her. The only thing I have heard them say is they want her to be found so she can have a proper burial. So okay in a way you are right they are still giving a tiny sliver of hope that "she" will be found but at the same time talking the public into not looking for a live child. Not keeping their eyes open. That is a whole lot of resources to shut down. Why do that? Do a little research on missing children's cases and see how many other parents do that. Especially at week one. And yes it was that early when it started. Go back and watch the interviews. There were a lot. No hope was a theme with most of the family from the start. Casting accusations. And just to be really clear here keep in mind in the first weeks "evidence" was still being gathered. The blood that is said to have been Ayla's had not even been seen. What was Trista & family's reason for giving up and trying to convince the public to give up that early on? Because they were. So do not tell me now that it is time, she has reason to believe, everyone heals differently. None of that passes the straight face test. Because Trista gave up right away. She started her games right away, her lies started right away. So why all of that? What mom of a missing child does that? My answer, one who IS a liar. And one who has something to hide. Justin is the only one for finding Ayla. Show one place where you have seen him say to the public he believes she is not coming home. Or one time he has not asked the public to look for his child and please never give up. He may not give an interview a day but the six or seven times he has spoken his words have always remained the same. Bring my daughter home. Please don't give up on her.
@Is Trista kidding us?
DeleteYou said it all!
Very well stated. :)

Trista has never kept a “low profile”! She has consistently pointed fingers at Justin, since day one.
DeleteAs of now, Trista is not running this show/charade any more, it is Jeff who is in charge. (IMO) Do you really think Trista came up with the idea to write the governor and congressmen of Maine?
Trista has always been pointing people in one direction – Justin killed Ayla. Trista is not too quick with her comebacks, it usually takes her at least a few weeks, but they always support one of the horrendous scenarios put out by Justin haters.
Why has Trista waited so long to release the info she has recently stated? There is now a gun being mentioned, and someone heard a gunshot that night. WTH. Jeff, you didn’t think this through. Your theory (actually it wasn’t yours) that Ayla went missing earlier than what was reported is no longer valid. Chelsea’s interview has upset a lot of your followers. Trista’s words have thrown a glitch in their thinking so now they are attacking Chelsea!
They are asking Jeff if Trista said what she did to Chelsea. Why not ask Trista? Because Jeff is in control …of everything Trista says.
What’s your next move Jeff?
P.S. Jeff, One of your followers thinks that leaking the info about the gun was wrong. They blame Chelsea. She screwed up LE’s whole investigation, they wanted that info kept quiet!!! LOL

getrealpeople - maybe they had read JohnP's theory about a gun... and then for the longest time Trista was trying to figure out where she'd heard the word gun before... "was it on tv?"... "noo"... "was it something I saw at the grocery store?"... "noo"... "in my mail?"... "oh, wait, I know... Phoebe terrorized me by mentioning a gun the only time I went to visit Ayla at the house... dang, I'd forgotten about that."

DeleteAnonymous, "We must be hearing different things,because...", see her interview before the press conference, and others, she thinks Ayla is dead. Le never said Ayla was dead!

If Trista didnt take Ayla,LE says no abduction ,then it makes sense why she would be pointing fingers from day one,Ayla didnt leave the house on her own,Justins family said it wasnt a stranger,So How could Ayla be alive? Justin didnt hide her,What else is left? That she is dead and someone hid her.If you dont believe that then the finger pointing from day one will never make sense to you.

getrealpeople,
Yeppers, LE transparency. I've mentioned the gun several times in posts on this website. People such as myself are ignored (thankfully), so I could not possibly have done anything to screw up their investigation. You see the pathetic irony of the situation.
LE -> THERE IS NO ABDUCTION. Remember, Justin failed the straight-face test and led them to believe Ayla was not abducted. So what do we have to ruin here? An investigation into the disappearance of a handgun? Are you kidding me? They wanted that info kept quiet? Oh, if only they would back their words with zero doubt... It's not really LOL. I think time is ruining Jeff's book and movie deals.
I'm saving Jeff for later, when there's plenty of time.

DeleteThe letter to the Gov, I would bet, wasnt her idea. Come on....Trista using the word beseech and signing as she did??? That wasnt her idea. If you look at her txt back and forth to Justin...she says that Jeff the Oracle is in charge and she is being led around like a puppy. He wanted NOTHING to do with Trista and her babies before...why now? The sight of that dude makes me physically ill.He strikes me as sneaky, underhanded, two faced and needs to be in charge.Trista isnt thinking for herself.
ReplyDeleteSelena, you forgot pompous... and righteous... cut from the same cloth as Peter.
DeleteExactly
DeleteMaybe Trista thinks that if Justin is charged with murdering Ayla (and then convicted and sent to prison) that she can take Ayla out of hiding and **poof** everything will be ok. Maybe Trista thinks THAT is how "double jeopardy" works. She certainly seems ignorant enough to confuse what it actually means with what her dillusional family has encouraged her to believe it means.
ReplyDeleteTrista- BRING AYLA HOME TO WHERE SHE WAS BEING LOVED AND CARED FOR!!!
Selena you said there is no evidence that this child is dead,How did you find that out did LE tell your family that? Is that what they are saying to Justin? If they dont have any evidence how can they assume that she is dead?
ReplyDeleteMust be those witnesses that saw Trista with Ayla after she disappeared didn't pass the straight face test either.
DeleteLE does not assume Ayla is dead. They state that after so many days have passed their hopes of finding her alive are not high. That does not equal evidence and it does not equal them stating they believe she is now dead. When they LE announces a death you will know it. That was not it.

JSTL, did you notice in the petition to the governor that they don't sling the questionable verbage like they do in the blogs? Their description of things, such as the blood found, was different than they like to insist it is. Does that mean they realize they shouldn't spew that bs to the governor?
ReplyDeleteMakes ya go HMMMM...why not mention the "rock solid" blood "evidence"? The "failed" polygraphs? The "suspicious" life insurance policy?
DeleteAgain, HMMMMMMMM.....
Good point. If they knew it was all solid evidence and know that the police know it as well then they would have literally no reason not to include it in what is intended to be a persuasive letter to the governor. -zelda
DeleteI think because the fact that this is a national case of a missing child it will get read, but the letter itself is so poorly written by someone so clearly uneducated, that it won't get taken very seriously. Sorry, but that's just how it goes...
ReplyDelete@Bring Ayla home
DeleteExactly, and as Obscure asked, what are they asking the governor to do?
What should he speak to investigators and prosecutors about? Trista states in the letter (remember, she didn't write it), ...the sooner arrests can be made and justice served the sooner the community can move on." , so is the governor suppose to tell MSP to arrest Justin, even though they have no evidence against him?
She hopes he can find it in his heart to say a few words to the press about Ayla. So...she wants LePage to say he feels for the family and hopes Ayla is found? Will that really make her feel better. (And, especially after she had to ask him?)
She hopes he can find it in his heart? Does she think he doesn't care about Ayla?
What is the reason for this letter?

The whole document is creeping me out. There's a strange events parallel between Maine and Alaska, Paul LePage and Sarah Palin, Maine State Police and Alaska State Troopers. Did I mention it's spooky and creepy?
ReplyDeleteIs there any historical significance to the first sentence of the third paragraph?

@1st sentence of 3rd paragraph
ReplyDeleteI'm researching the connection you mention. While doing so, I found out LePage supports the death penalty for the murder of a baby. Trista's letter "... I will cope knowing the party responsible for my baby's demise is being punished to the full extent of the law." Maine does not have capital punishment, but Wordman, and/or Jeff should be careful what they ask for... Doesn't necessarily mean anything, just found it interesting.
Have only found the current governor of Alaska associated with LePage.

getrealpeople, you'll probably find this too...

...Positions on specific issues - Capital punishment -
LePage supports the death penalty in cases of the murder of a baby. He stated this view in response to the case of the death of Ethan Henderson, a 10-week old baby who was allegedly killed by his father...
OK, then. LePage gets his precedent setter. Is everyone happy now? Can we get back to truth and relevance now? Excuse me while I go upchuck.
What's his policy on illegal immigration? [rhetorical]
There's some other stuff about the dam demolition and ConEdison.
