Any ideas as to what these "arrests" mean? Where's that handy dandy LE Anon? Any info will help! Thanks.

I also find it interesting that he and Ronnie Reynolds have the same address listed. I wonder whose/what address that is?

Lastly, I haven't heard of Jessica Reynolds lately, but she was last arrested in March of 2012.

Jesus, Obscure. I think I found it. I'm really glad "More Questions" brought this up...
ReplyDeleteIt appears Mr. Raymond Robert Fortier has been recently transferred out from Downeast to MCC in Windham (thus the WIN location). And it doesn't appear to be an "upgrade" either.
Here you go:
https://www1.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/mdoc/search-and-deposit/detail.pl?mdoc_number1=114034
Those aren't arrests Obscure, just where he was being held "in custody" because he is currently incarcerated. He was being held by order of a judge. Some kind of subpoena I would imagine. Since his case his adjudicated, I suspect they are questioning him on another.
ReplyDeleteGood catch on the address however. The plot thickens....
In which case it was reckless to report a date and time of "arrest", an "arrest number", the "arresting" agency, and the the name of the "arresting" officer if these weren't "arrests."
DeleteWhy not just say "some kind of subpoena?"
Sorry, Grace. It is clear these were "arrests." And Mr. Fortier may have overstayed his welcome at Downeast Correctional...why, I don't know.
Have you seen these kinds of forms before McKeeKitty? We will just have to agree to disagree. If he had been "arrested", why did they return him to prison? He would have to be held until arraignment. Thanks for playing.
DeleteGrace, they do not subpoena people by "arresting" them in any form or fashion.
DeleteA subpoena on an inmate is the easiest to serve, because they are already in custody. They are usually just transported, not arrested.
My $.02
PS...also an "arrest" booking number.
ReplyDeleteAll these supposed "arrests" occured at MCC...not Downeast.
I'm not real sharp on the law, Grace. But being arrested three times while incarcerated baffles me.
Yeah...the same address as Ronnie, Jr.? That IS weird...
Mckee, I don't see where there were all these arrests. At the bottom of page 14 is a listing for a J Fields on 06/04/2012. at the top of page 15 is the continued report for J Fields listing 3 more offenses for the same date (booking)
ReplyDeleteThen it goes on to R Fortier with a booking date of 06/06/2012 with no additional offenses listed.
We can all go home now. Oneannon said it was ok.
DeleteI think I see my error.
DeleteAnnon, hmm, I did'nt say anything about anyone going home, you are confused.
DeleteOk the arrests were made by mcc which means Ray.got in trouble while in prison they put his offenses while incacerated in his arrest records. The shared portland address is the old addres of Jeff Hanson and Trista Reynolds before they both moved from the apartment. Becca and ronnie jr. still may reside there. The addresses put on the forms here would be taken from the last known id or given address.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you can elaborate? None of what you said makes much sense.
DeleteHe was arrested AT MCC, but the arresting agency is 0300---Cumberland County Sheriff's Office (http://cumberlandso.org/PDF%27s/Media%20Reports/Code%20Abbreviations%20&%20Descriptions.pdf).
Please explain to me how the hell that has to do with an offense in prison? Cumberland County likely didn't have jurisdiction in there.
Your statement about the addresses makes no sense considering Fortier was incarcerated long before Trista and Jeff lived together.
If I may, I think AMP meant that the arrests happened while Ray was in prison at Maine Correctional Institute in Windham (which is in Cumberland County).
DeleteI don't really have any insight into the address thing though (except isn't it possible that AMP means the address that the whole family had prior to Jeff and Trista each moving out?)
It's all pretty confusing, but it makes one wonder (A) Why was he moved from Downeast Correctional to Windham? (I sincerely hope it wasn't to make life easier on Trista for bringing Ray Jr. to see him, since Windham and Gorham are quite close to each other). (B) What did Ray do while incarcerated (either in Machiasport or Windham) to warrant additional arrests?
I sent an email to a friend who works in Law Enforcement to get his take. We'll see if it results in anything.
I did one of those "reverse address" searches, and 70 Pleasant Avenue in Portland, ME comes back to a Jeffrey Hansen. I'm not sure how current these address searches are.
DeleteWhatever. It's starting to feel like U4A around here.
Deleteaww...boooooo!
DeleteFan of the truth, it would tho make it easier on little Ray to see his father rather than him having to take a long trip every time. Rather than not wanting anything to be easier on Trista how about wanting things to be easier on a small child.
DeleteI won't disagree with you there Oneannon. I will question the value of a young child spending time with a father who is in prison for the crime of arson (that resulted in 14 people being homeless). However, you are right, Ray Jr. didn't pick his parents, and if it's easier on him to not have to travel as far to see his father (if indeed he does see him), then that's not a bad thing.
DeleteI don't really understand why Ray was incarcerated at Downeast Correctional Facility in Machiasport in the first place. He committed his crime in Sanford, ME, which is in York County, 4 hours away from Machiasport. Certainly, Windham is much closer. Maybe it's a just a simple matter of Windham being overcrowded when he was first sentenced and they moved him there when an opening came up?
That still doesn't explain the 3 arrests, though.
When Ray is relaeased who is to say wheather or not he will lead an honest life but if he does then little Ray deserves to be in his fathers life so I see visits as a way to keep the relationship intact.
DeleteI don't think that visits in prison is the best set up by any means but I guess better than the alternative of little Ray being severed of his relationship with his Daddy and not knowing him at all when Ray is released.
As for the rest, I don't understand what is going on either.
Thank you for the address info. It's interesting to say the least. I would love to know what it all means. As Obscure points out, Ray was incarcerated before Trista moved in with Jeff. Trista doesn't live there now as we know she's living in Gorham with her current boyfriend. Very strange.
DeleteBecca, why is it so important to you to be able to comment on the information a blog is bringing you? I have a contact page. If you have something to say to me, you are welcome to do so. I am just not going to let you do so in front of everyone else. Get the picture?
DeleteIMO, the comments are what ruins blogs. People say mean nasty things just to hurt others, they lie with no repercussions, and generally just cause trouble. I have no need for comments on my blog. My work speaks for itself. No one has proven my theories wrong, or proved me a liar. When I have been wrong I have admitted it.
Hold-House for other agency means that he's wanted in another county or city, and they're trying to work out whether they want to transport him there to try him or if it's even worth it to that county/city to spend the money to bring him & try him.

Remember after Ray committed arson he ran to another state. Who knows what other offenses he may have committed in the process of running
Does it say what he is arrested for and possibly being held for that crime? I did'nt see anything.
DeleteThanks everyone for sharing what inquiring minbs want to know.
ReplyDeleteSo where was this guy the night Ayla was taken? Inquiring minds, etc.
ReplyDeleteMeet Janice Fortier!

Please tell me how this woman/firebug was released on a mere $5k bail? Please tell me why she has not gone to trial all these years later?
She lit the couch on fire on "a dare" from her son and "boyfriend?"
Boyfriend...she's married!!! wtf
DeleteDare...she's a grown ass woman who should know better.
Setting a fire...her husband is a fire chief, right?
It sounds like Ray's younger brother, Kevin, has his shit somewhat together. It also appears that Robert and Janice are estranged.

I want to know why Janice's bail was set at 5K, and why she has not yet been tried.
There's just something off here, IMO.
Good for him, I appreciate his service!
DeleteI'm not joining to look at the full profile on my life...
DeleteMaybe they're divorced or separated and living apart.
