[It would be very unprofessional of me, being a LE student, to go against the words of Law Enforcement.] I am on law enforcement’s side on what they have announced about Ayla. It is sad and it makes me sick to know that, it is unlikely that Ayla, most likely will not be found alive. There was blood found; however, much was found. It obviously makes LE believe that Ayla is no longer alive.
There is probably evidence that points in the same direction. I want Ayla to come home. Trista deserves closure; she also deserves to know.. where Ayla is located. I also want justice to be served, even though it won’t bring Ayla back (make her alive again). People need to be punished for the crime(s) they have committed. I couldn’t care less about get slammed for believing Ayla is no longer with us. LE has stated this and I believe them. LE doesn’t go around lying to the family of the victim(s) and to the public about stuff like this. This is some serious shit. I am dedicated to keeping Ayla’s face and name out in the public…in hopes that she will not be forgotten.
First of all, there is nothing that professionally obligates you to believe anything as a "LE student." Take it from someone who just so happens to have a Masters in Criminal Justice. *wink* You have to be able to think on your own. Prosecutors are considered law enforcement officials as well. Don't you think they go against the words of Law Enforcement sometimes? Think about it. Law enforcement gets it wrong sometimes, and people like you build up a false sense of security when you hang on their every word. They are not infallible as people, and agencies are made up of people---thus, the agencies themselves are fallible.
Secondly, LE never said that the blood evidence is what leads them to believe that Ayla is dead. So you shouldn't say "obviously" because you made that bit up. It's not obvious at all. It is simply what you want to believe, so you state your opinion as fact and hope that others will agree. Not so fast.
You are proud to declare that a little missing girl is dead. I get that, you are entitled to say what you want. LE has not necessarily lied to the family of the victim in this case, they said it is highly unlikely that Ayla will be found alive. That leaves room for the possibility that she will be found alive. Why can't people like you understand that? If they were FOR SURE that Ayla was dead, they would say that. If they could say that, then there better be some "imminent arrests."
Get off your high horse. Ashley is not a mole here; I actually cannot stand her and how she has presented herself throughout this case.

My issue is that Ashley is a manipulative bitch with a streak of attention-whore blood coursing through her veins. To illustrate...Ashley couldn't resist referring to Elisha's "fat ass" while declaring the DiPietro residence "abandoned" and Gabbie a potential victim of parental kidnapping. Even the Waterville Police had enough of Ashley's pestering phone calls during the "ordeal."
I have grave doubts that Ashley's loyalty is for Ayla.
Did I call LE no I refered Gabbys father to call the right people and has since regained his visits. And Fyi Obscure I may have emailed your number 2 about certain things but like I said you right im no mole. And if amy of you knew my personal life you would know that my fiance was wrongly accused and all charges were dropped he was never selling drugs in or around school zones or my children. We both work full time and support our family legitly im so sick of all these accusations ive always been here for Ayla and wont stop because certaim people want to bash me because of my opinions and dedications thru this I am in no way an attention whore I could care less as long as Ayla stays in the forefront. ReplyDeleteThere have been so many times I've ask myself, why is it that so many people take McCausland's statement "we believe it is highly unlikely that Ayla will be found alive", to mean that she is dead, or that they know she is dead.
Unlikely does not mean certain, it means not promising.
I still believe that PC was for investigative purposes, and McCauslabnd chose his words wisely.
S, didn't he say "we THINK" rather than "we believe?" The former, IMO, is a weaker statement.

This is off topic I don't comment a lot but have been thinking. Some may say this is scary me thinking. Anyway I know a long time ago I read a comment in the KJ, and the person said are you all dumb Trista and Justin sold Ayla get over it. The thing that keeps plaguing me is if this could be true. I mean if they let LE think there was something to Justin or Trista harming Ayla and she died, they would do exactly what they have been doing. Not looking for a live Ayla but a body. As long as it has been, there wouldn't be any way to know who she was sold to.There would be no proof she was dead so no trial for that. It's to late to track anyone because they have no idea where to look. Justin or Trista would be crazy to admit they had sold her they probably wouldn't even know the true identity of the people who have her or where. So they can't prosecute for selling her. The life insurance thing is just more window dressing for LE to look into. The thing is could they be smart enough to pull it off?

DeleteI am very happy that some people did not believe the missing person was dead in these cases: Jaycee Lee Dugard, was abducted June 10, 1991 at the age of 11. She was at a school bus stop, when her stepfather witnessed two people force her into the car. Eighteen years later, on August 26, 2009, a California parole officer rescued Ms. Dugard from her horrific, captive environment. On August 27, 2009 she was confirmed to be Jaycee Dugard. Shortly afterwards, Philip Craig Garrido, a registered sex offender, was arrested. His wife, Nancy Garrido was also arrested for the heinous crime.
ReplyDeleteAccording to sources (see below) Jaycee was kept in a secret, hidden tent or shed in the backyard. She fathered two daughters from Philip Garrido, who are now 11 and 15 years old.
Somehow, someway, parole officers, making regular visits to Garrido's home missed that he had kept Jaycee Dugard captive for 18 years.
Steven Stayner, Another tragic abduction case that ends with a family reunion is the Steven Stayner case. Steven was kidnapped at the age of 7 in Merced, California in 1972. He was held captive by pedophile Kenneth Parnell for seven years. His case inspired the made-for-TV miniseries, "I Know My First Name is Steven." Steven was brainwashed by Kenneth Parnell and believed that Parnell had legal custody of him. It wasn't until Mr. Parnell abducted another victim, Timmy White, in 1980 that Steven escaped. He brought himself and Michael White to the police station where he was later reunited with his family.
Sadly, Kenneth Parnell was only sentenced to seven years, and served only five. You can read more about the Steven Stayner case here:
Delimar Vera, Delimar Vera was kidnapped at just 10 days old in 1997. Authorities believed she had died in the house fire, though her mother, knew all along she was missing. She was reunited with her mother in 2004, after her mother saw her at a birthday party. She suspected the young girl was Delimar and, after tricking her into thinking she had gum in her hair, took some hair for DNA testing.
Her story was later made into a lifetime movie entiltled "Little Girl Lost."
Other kidnapping cases where the child was found alive include the story of Sean Hornbeck. He was reunited with his family after spending 1558 days at the hands of a sex offender.
Perhaps one of the most talked about cases of abduction where the child was found alive is the Eizabeth Smart story.
Another kidnapping story with an unbelievable ending is the story of Natascha Kampusch. She is an Austrian woman who was held for 8 years in a secret cellar.
The cases are not similiar to Ayla's in that some of the persons kidnapped were not taken directly from their homes, but off the streets. Steven Stayner, was kidnapped on the way home from school. Jaycee Dugard at age 11 was kidnapped, witnessed by her stepfather, at the school bus. Sean Hornbeck was kidnapped while riding his bike, IIRC. These kids were either of school age or pre-teens.

All of those mentioned except for Dellmar Vera were kidnapped outside their homes and were of school age.
I am not familiar with the Austrian case, but I would presume she was older than a baby and was not kidnapped from her home. Just a wile guess.
Nice try, try, though with these particular cases. Can you think of any babies kidnapped from their homes, later to be found? It can happen, but what are the circumstances of the abduction?

Thanks for the link. Interesting unsolved case. How many witnesses saw the guy who took the child? They saw someone who was carrying a bundle. I don't see many similarities to Ayla's disappearance where no one heard or saw anything. And there was "no evidence of an abduction".
DeleteI didn't post those cases to show cases similar to Ayla. I posted them to show that even after someone is missing for many years and presumed dead can still be found alive. There are many more cases of people missing and presumed dead and then found later. Many times most people give up hope of finding them alive and then they are found. I'm just saying even though LE think Ayla likely will not be found alive does not mean she will not be found alive.

Ashley, just because someone has a full-time job. Doesn't mean that they don't sell drugs. There are people out there with jobs and still sell drugs on the side. You're stereo-typing by "suggesting" that only the unemployed sell drugs. I guess you're also one of those people, who think that all welfare people sell drugs or use drugs too. Employment status has nothing to do with it.
By the way Ashley, I don't appreciate you...putting the blame on me for your actions. I think this post is civil. I have read worst things over here. I didn't put the prosecutor's point of view into things. Thanks for suggesting that. There are plenty of people out there, who are looking for a deceased Ayla. I knew that I was going to get slammed for my comment. I also knew it was a matter of time, until you wrote a post about me. I was waiting for it. A lot of people over at U4A, get their names mentioned here. I think that this blog is cruel, but I have seen worse.

DeleteI think the prosecutor, DA, whatever it is in Maine is playing a key role in this case. Not necessarily because charges are pending but there's no proof---I think police officers are just as divided as the public. Perhaps the prosecutor, who happens to be the gatekeeper if you will, is providing a check/balance.
