It's even more proof, in my opinion, that Justin really thought Trista took Ayla.
I'm talking about the long car ride.
His car was seized. IF a dead child was in it, you can bet dollars to donuts that a cadaver dog would have hit on it. If Ayla's blood was in the home in such a massive amount, it would also probably be in the car.
I also think there's a possibility that the trip never happened. LE could have floated this idea to Trista to see if her story would change. Don't forget, she had to have left to Machiasport early that morning. LE could have said "You were not in Portland at XX o'clock, because Justin took a trip down there and you were not where you said you were." Or "What if I told you Justin stopped by the Maine Motel at 6 am to see if you had Ayla, and you weren't there. You told us earlier that you didn't leave until 8." Then, her alibi wouldn't be secure. She would have to readjust her time...It could have just been an interrogation tactic.
You never know...
Just my thoughts.
You are trying to grasp at everything aren't you.
ReplyDeleteYou don't know if there was a hit or not!
Even if there were a hit that doesn't mean that LE would keep the car.
You don't know if there was a trip or not.
DeleteEven if there was a trip, that doesn't mean Justin did anything wrong.
See how this works?
I'm SPECULATING, just like everyone else. Because I don't agree with you, I'm grasping?
Grasping is putting out wild theories, saying Ayden shot Ayla. Ayla overdosed on drugs. Stuff like that.
And by the way, her mommy was a full blown addict. If she was going to overdose on drugs, she would have gotten into mommy's stash well before moving with the DiPietros.
"Even if there were a hit that doesn't mean that LE would keep the car".
DeleteI admit, I don't know for sure, if they'd keep the car or not. I believe they would have.
At the least they would have collected the evidence of said hit.
There would be some of Justin's car missing, from the floor, seat, etc. Is There?
Why do you think Jeff is now changing the story from *Justin drove to Portland*, to maybe, could be, that *Derek drove to Portland*??. He has a reason
I wonder how long the car was kept.
DeleteIn comparison to how long the house was roped off. They didn't finish testing items from the home for some months.
I wonder...
I looked a little earlier today to see if I could discover when the cars were returned. Didn't find anything.
DeleteI do remember readig it though.
Just from memory, I think they kept them somewhere around a week.
Good point S. Not enough people buying the Justin drove to Portland story? No problem let's use our old Trista might have been confused tactic. Maybe, could be we are just not sure but we do know "she didn't lie because well she can't"
DeleteFrom the M.S. Dec. 30, 2011
Delete"Police on Thursday confirmed that two vehicles seized from the driveway by police Dec. 19 have been returned to their owners"
Dec.30, 2011 was a Friday, so Thursday would have been the 29th.
So the cars were kept no more than 10 days.
.
I don't think that Ayla over dosed on drugs.
ReplyDeleteI don't think that Ayden had shot Ayla either. Even though the statistics on accidentally shootings of children is rather high.
I have mixed feelings about the road trip claim. It is possible that there was one, but I don't think it was to dispose of Ayla.
I am not even sure what to believe anymore. Especially, now that Derek had supposedly went with him. Why wasn't this mentioned yesterday or months ago when they found out.
Why are they letting out information now? This is what I would like to know.
What are your thoughts on it all?
My thoughts...
DeleteJeff and Trista strike again.
But WHY? is the question.
I smell reasonable doubt, jury tainting, media manipulation....
ReplyDeleteFunny.
DeleteI smell shit.
And I didn't smell until you showed up.
Does that mean she scares the shit out of you?
DeleteDumbest question ever.
DeleteWhose lying now?
ReplyDeleteThe same people who have been lying and distorting things all along.
DeleteI told you the answer, you can believe it or not.
Links or it didn't happen.
ReplyDeleteExactly
Delete"If Ayla's blood was in the home in such a massive amount"
ReplyDeleteWhat is the massive amount?
Supposedly a cup full. And according to 'them' Ayla would have needed medical attention immediately to survive an injury causing that much blood loss.
Delete
ReplyDeleteI can't say how many times I've read;
If Justin thought Trista took Ayla why didn't he go to Trista's to get her?
Well *IF* he did go to Porland the morning of the 17th, perhaps that's just what he had in mind to do.
Space submitted a snip from an article on the previous thread that said Trista was only at the motel in S. Portland for a week.
Did Justin know where she was? Perhaps he didn't find her? IF he went.
It could also be that he got a call from his mother telling him this is a bad idea, you can't go busting in people's doors. Come home. Do this the right way. Call the police.
Now good ol grandpa Jeff is involving Derek in the posible disposal of Ayla. I think that could be construed as slander.
Jeff has to know that though....
Re: the trip to Machiasport - Robert Fortier stated that Ron Reynolds called HIS cellphone, not Trista's. Obviously, Justin wouldn't have that number. From what I remember, Trista used various phones, including her sister's, to call or text Justin.
DeleteIf the Portland trip with Derek is true it could explain a lot.
For example: "Susan Candiotti: When you found out that she wasn't there, what did you think? Phoebe: I thought that I didn't want my son to go get any of his friends and go kicking in doors looking for her." If Justin had tried to call Phoebe very early, and she returned his call when she woke up, and was told what they were doing - it would explain her comment which would logically lead to what you expressed, S - that's a bad idea, get back here now, call the police.
I will never believe that Justin called Derek to help dispose of Ayla. These are 2 seemingly normally functioning adults. Could I believe that Justin asked Derek to help him look for Ayla and kick in a few doors if necessary? Yes. This could also explain some of Heidi's involvement. Likely she would have told them the same thing Phoebe probably did if she'd been given the chance. While I'm sure she's a good friend, having her son involved in any way would be some added influence to shelter the DiPietros and try to find what out what the hell was going on. It does make me wonder though, if the trip actually happened, was Angela lied to about the events of that morning? It also makes me wonder how Courtney's car ended up behind Justin's in the driveway.
To Space, but actually directed to Tori:
Delete"Trista was on her way to Machiasport with Robert, who is the father of Ray Sr. and grandfather of Ray Jr., he was bringing her to visit Ray. Trista was tired and Robert let her sleep on the long drive to Machiasport. Finally after Trista’s phone kept ringing and Robert thought that it might be an emergency, he woke Trista up. It was a phone call from Ronnie Sr. that alerted Trista to Ayla’s disappearance. Ronnie Sr. was too distraught to relay the awful news and passed the phone to Frankie to give Trista the phone number of the Waterville PD. It is certainly believable that Trista was tired and getting any chance she could to sleep. That isn’t an uncommon thing for mothers of young children to do. It also isn’t strange to think that Trista was able to get a ride to Machiasport with Ray’s father to visit him. I would imagine that Robert tries to visit his son as much as he can, just because Trista was able to get a ride with him certainly does not mean that Trista had reliable transportation any time she needed.

"I’ve seen a very clear picture(s) of what Ayla looked like every time she was with this POS Justin! She looks very worried and traumatized in the photos with Daddy! I can’t look at these photos long, they are absolutely Haunting of a child that is being perpetually abused to put it mildly. JD should is a threat to society!
"The whole Dip family are about as sick as they come.
"LE: We need some arrests now! This has gone on way too long."

ReplyDeleteIM REALLY SAD HOW THIS BLOG TREAT TRISHA AND BAD MOUTH HER ALL THE TIME. I DO NOT USUALLY RESPONSE TO THE BLOGS FOR THAT REASON. IT REALLY GETTING SICKEN ABOUT HOW THE 2 FAMILYS HAVE BEEN TORN APART JUST BECAUSE PEOPLE THINK THEY KNOW IT ALL ABOUT THIS CASE AND THEY KNOW NOTHING.THAT BEAUTFUL CHILD NAMED AYLA WE NOT HELPING HER TO BE FOUND WE ARE THRASHING HER FAMILY.WHY CAN'T ONE BLOG OR FACE BOOK SITE USE THER ENERGY ON FINDING OUT THE TRUTH ABOUT AYLA AND FINDING HER. MAY PRAYERS ARE WITH AYLA AND THAT SHE IS SAFE.ALL THE THINGS THAT ARE WRITTEN ABOUT HER IS VERY FRIGHEN THINGS TO THINK ABOUT THAT NO ONE KEPT AYLA SAFE AND IF SHE WAS BREATEN TO DEATH WHY DONT THESE FAMILY MEMBER SPEAK UP FOR AYLA AND STOP THE LIES AND TELL THE TRUTH.I HOPE THAT ANY FAMILY MEMBER WOULD SPEAK UP FOR AYLA. I WOULD NOT LIE FOR MY GRANDCHILDREN PARENT IF I KNOW THAT THEY HARM MY GRANDCHILD.I DO NOT TOERATE CHILD ABUSE AND IF I SAW SOMEONE ABUSING A CHILD I WOULD SPEAK UP FOR THAT CHILD AND I HAVE DONE THAT
ReplyDeleteI have to wonder if this is what the police said that the three in the house weren't forthcoming about, and they knew he drove to Portland that morning & they weren't telling police. Maybe when they met with police last time they shared that, their reasons why, and that's why the police were satisfied with their "frank discussion" and now the tide seems to be turning?
ReplyDeleteLike many have said, if a dead Ayla was transported in that car, it would've been obvious & evidence would've been there--especially after a "cup full of blood" was lost in the home.
Yes, and I don't think they would have given back the cars so quickly if they thought that a dead Ayla was transported in one of the cars. Some things don't make sense.
DeleteMichelle...I had similiar thoughts.
DeleteMy problem with this scenario? If Justin changed his story so late in the investigation, I think it would send up a big red flag.
IF Justin went to Portland, I think he would have told LE at the get-go. No crime in going to Portland in the middle of the night. If Justin insisted that he was home all night, and it was proven he went to Portland...well, that could be a problem.
McCausland refuses to amend any previous LE statements, including not getting all the information from the adults in the home.
But unless it is a ruse, McCausland stated that the most recent meeting with the DiPietros was "positive", "improved", and "frank." He also noted that communication resumed.
I find that significant.
This Machiasport trip has never sat well with me. It didn't surface for FOUR months. Now we have Justin going to Portland the night of the 16th...surfacing FOURTEEN months later, and originating from a very dubious source.
ReplyDeleteWish Robert Fortier would step out of the shadows and give a first-person account of the trip. He is, afterall, Trista's sole alibi. When and where did he pick up Trista? Why would he listen to Ron and keep driving towards Machiasport? Why didn't he wake up Trista and inform her that Ayla was missing? Was Ray, Jr. in the car? Was Fortier's car processed?
Why did Trista give the impression that she was at The Maine Motel when Ayla disappeared?
The same reason she gave the impression that Justin stole Ayla from her.
DeleteDeflecting, distorting, deceiving. Since day fuckin ONE.
My opinion only but Trista took Ayla and Fortier is in on it. Makes just as much sense as any theory out there. LE can't prove either theory or they would have by now.
ReplyDeleteI tend to agree...
DeleteShe spilled Aylas blood beforehand to make it look like justin did it without anyone seeing or hearing anything?
DeleteFor a family that's been so overly "forthcoming" with information, it certainly took them long enough to say Trista was in a car headed to Machiasport that very morning. If we are to believe Robert Fortier's interview, he was questioned for a few minutes - and after Ron and Trista were done they all left. No mention of his car being impounded for 10 days, or at all. They were 2 - 3 hours into the investigation, so why wasn't it?
DeleteWas trista s home...not that she had one ..or motel searched? Was any of her abodes? (Lol)....just wondering.
ReplyDeleteJeff said that her motel room was. And Ron stated his home was searched not sure about other family members.
DeleteI think Trista and Jeff lie more than Tori.
