I really wish that law enforcement, either of the families, or some other informed person could answer one, some, or all of these questions!!!
Why can't the 911 calls be released? Can a more specific reason other than "active investigation" be given?
Whose phone was ringing in the car----was it Robert Fortier's phone or Trista's? If Robert's phone, did Trista have one of her own on her person?
What was the rationale behind letting Trista sleep, even though her child was reported missing?
Where was Baby Ray? Was he traveling with Trista or staying with someone else?
Was this a regularly scheduled trip to go visit Raymond Fortier, or did the trip just happen to coincide with Ayla's disappearance?
Who else is on Raymond Fortier's visitor's list?
Has Raymond Fortier been interviewed? Have any letters been confiscated?
When was the last time any of the Reynolds family members was in Waterville before December 16?
Were there any guns registered to Phoebe DiPietro, or any firearms found in the Violette Ave. home?
Why did Trista's family and friends lie about her reason for going to rehab? Why did they insist that she was only "using" alcohol?
Were the motel phone records checked?
Was there video surveillance at the motel?
Is Trista's unfinished polygraph still sufficient?
Was there anything of evidentiary value found in any of the seized cars? Was Robert Fortier's car seized and searched? Did the dogs get a chance to sniff for Ayla's scent in it?
Are there cell phone pings that back up Trista's supposed route to Machiasport?
Have cell phone pings for anyone yielded anything of value?
Why was Trista never shown photos of the evidence found in the dam?
Was anyone disciplined for leaking the information about blood being found to the media?
Has the FBI developed a profile for the suspect/crime?
Why did Trista stage her reaction to the press conference in which McCausland told the public that Ayla was unlikely to be found alive?
Why was the media allowed to film the Reynolds' reaction to that press conference, but none before or after that?
How many tipsters have reported seeing Ayla alive?
Why can't anyone be ruled out after a year?
Is it possible that another reward will be established?
Was there any investigation of DHHS or its employees resulting from this case?
Are benefits still being received for Ayla (or child support)?
Are all investigators on the same page regarding this investigation?
When will all of the evidence be tested? Why does the process seem to be taking so long?
I have a question to add: What does Candlegate have to do with finding Ayla or solving this case?
ReplyDeleteOh, yay, I can answer it! NOTHING!
Wish we had answers to yours and many other questions.
"Candlegate"...LMFAO!
DeleteHappy holidays to you, TT!
And to all...
More than disgusting that some sicko would dirty a candle room for a little girl!
DeleteThat's not what Candlegate refers to Oneannon...
DeleteBUT whoever is doing that needs to cut the shit out. There are plenty of places to talk your crap, but the candle site should be off limits!
Same to you, kitty!
DeleteObscure, thank you for pointing out what I thought would be obvious to all. Since it's not: "Candlegate" refers to the wild speculation that if certain people lit candles at certain times it certainly means an admission of certain guilt by Justin and company.
I also agree that the candle room should be off-limits to anything other than prayers for Ayla.
one question haunts me to this day. i asked LE this question via email and never got a response. has the blond toddler, 4 adults including the phoebe look-alike, seen the morning of the abduction ever been identified? kinda seems important to me!!
ReplyDeleteA couple other questions come to mind...why did Trista put an attorney on retainer in March/April time frame? If this is true, why would Jeff confirm this to Grace?
ReplyDeleteoaklandrez
I allowed this comment through...possibly against my better judgment. I just want to add the disclaimer that I personally have NO KNOWLEDGE of this, and will not post about it further until such time that I can be sure it's true.
DeleteI am not usually so cautious, but the implications of this allegation are huge!
Honestly Obscure I only ask these questions because I was reading an article on the online sentinel sometime the end of last week and saw a comment by Grace about her website. I went to her website and on her "Rumor Has It" post way down at the bottom in bold print is:
ReplyDeleteTrista Reynolds has a criminal defense attorney, and has retained him since at least April of this year.
a little further down it states:
This information was confirmed to me by Jeff Hanson, Trista’s step-father and spokesperson. When contacted about this new revelation, Justin DiPietro had no comment, he only asked for proof.
I usually take Grace with a grain of salt but when I saw this I thought this is huge. And then you had this post with all of these questions I figured my questions should be included.
oaklandrez
Oh, I understand. I believe Grace when she says that, because in the past she has backed up everything with proof. At the same time, I'm not willing to throw caution to the wind re: the criminal attorney issue.
DeleteI hope you get where I'm coming from!
I sure do!!!!
Deleteoaklandrez
maybe she is finally going after DHS.
DeleteFor what?
DeletePlacing her child in the father's home while she kicked a drug habit?
Trista had publicly threatened to sue DHS:
DeleteReynolds says she called DHHS several times with concerns about her daughter — concerns she says were never investigated. And now, she plans to sue.
Trista says, “I’m going to go up against you and I’m going to fight you because I’m sitting here every single day wondering where Ayla is, what happened to her and why no one cared to check on her.”
Mother Of Missing Maine Toddler Considers Lawsuit Against State
Do I really have to paste the email? Cmon guys! Jeff confirmed this to me because we were friends back in March/April. I don't want to release the lawyer's name. He is a criminal attorney in Portland, ME. He doesn't have much of a reputation, so he might be fairly new. He also does bankruptcy and dui's, but I don't think Trista has either of those problems.
ReplyDeleteI think that would be appropriate. You can redact what you need to, or you can choose not to post it at all.
DeleteGrace, I understand Obscure's hesitance. There has been SO much he said she said and misinformation and disinformation out there and this lil tidbit is HUGE...Obscure does NOT want to add to the misinformation/disinformation pile of baloney and I can't say as I blame him/her. Without proof of something this big being true...well ....
Deleteoaklandrez
Ok, you win.
DeleteI'm not sure I would trust much of anything that Jeff has said.
DeleteHe was the source of a lot of misleding-misinformation.
Including the most nonsensical..."Trista is not capable of telling a lie".
Is it deemed. "HUGE" that Phoebe and Elisha have an attorney ??
DeleteOnce again, Oneannon, you miss the OBVIOUS.
DeletePhoebe and Elisha's attorney was front and center. He speaks for them. They referred the media to him.
IF Trista has an attorney, can you say she did the same?
Also, when police say they are not telling the truth, THEY SHOULD HAVE AN ATTORNEY.
DeleteDuh.
Well, according to this article:http://www.onlinesentinel.com/news/Lawyer-Aylas-aunt-telling-the-truth.html, he handles family and estate law as well.
DeleteTrista has never been accused of anything, and her lawyer is pretty much just a criminal defense lawyer.
I don't think she hired him to sue DHHS. You would need a family law expert, IMO.
Most people have an attorney they use when they need one. I would assume that this so called attorney of Trista is just an attorney that she goes to when she needs to. . . . why do you automatically start shit when you have no clue what you are talking about. . . I thought this blog was to stop the lies. . . why are YOU always starting them??????? Full of shit often??????
DeleteOh and you know what you are talking about right. People with Tristas income do not have attorneys on retainer she is a welfare case. That would qualify her for Pine Tree Legal only.
DeleteHow about you drink a tall glass of SHUT UP. What makes you an authority?
DeleteWell when Grace just proved the lawyer exists it's no longer a "so-called" lawyer. And anything you "assume" is not a fact nor relevant to anything. And im sure the person who is full of shit is Trista. If you're going to comment on this subject why dont you find something intelligent and fact based to provide an arguement that doesnt look like a 5 year old typed it.
DeleteGrace, where did you find that Tristas supposed lawyer is mainly criminal defense? I see him listed as a general practice.
Delete"Once again, Oneannon, you miss the OBVIOUS.
DeletePhoebe and Elisha's attorney was front and center. He speaks for them. They referred the media to him"
No obscure, I did not miss the obvious. Sometimes a question is posed merely to get others to think, beyond the obvious.
@Anonymous 12:45
DeleteDo you understand what a criminal defense attorney is for? So are you saying Trista keeps a criminal defense attorney for a when needed basis?

nemesis god sorry I struck a nerve but the idea Trista is living off from welfare should not bother you. There are a lot of people who need assistance in the world, but they do not have money to keep attorneys on retainer or they would not need welfare.

All good questions. We'll most likely never know the answers to most of them.
ReplyDelete"When will all of the evidence be tested? Why does the process seem to be taking so long?
I would think after a year that most of the evidence has been processed, if not all. I tend to believe that that didn't find what they thought they had.
Something I'd like to ponder.. Why do DiPietro haters get to say things like "they know what they did." and "he needs to confess to killing that sweet little girl." and "baby killer" and "lock up those 3 until they talk!"
ReplyDeleteThey speak as if they just know it happened, and if anyone dares think Ayla might be alive and shares what they *think* happened to her in order for that to be a reality, holy hell, watch out... because it makes Trista look possibly involved, and those who dare utter these thoughts are attacked viciously as a result.
Hey, guess what? No one's calling her a baby killer! At least Ayla's alive in that scenario, and no one's speaking it as if it's absolute truth. Why do some of you get SO pissed off about that?
This story made me think of Ayla....still pray she is found alive
