Justin visited Ayla 5 times after learning he was the father and before taking custody of her.
3 of those visits involved Justin taking Ayla out somewhere.
- August 27th 2011 - Justin took Ayla for the day to see the Navy's Blue Angels in Brunswick and nothing was amiss with the visit aside from Ayla had a slight sunburn. (I imagine this is the outing documented in these photos.)
- About Mid-September - Justin took Ayla to Chucky Cheese and she was returned with black and blue bruises the right side of her face and ear, photographs were taken. Justin said that he had put her in the "Ball Pit" and she got into a fight with two little boys. (One can only wonder why these "damning" photos have not been released. Did he go with anyone else, and why would he use such a short visit to abuse her? He knew he would have to take her home before the bruising faded. That makes no sense at all. The sizing of the bruises would probably show whether a grown man caused them, or if was in fact a child. That is why these pictures have not been released, because some people want the speculation to continue.)
- About the end of September - Justin took Ayla on a Thursday and brought her back Friday. Later that evening, Becca noticed that she could not walk without difficulty and after a few days she was not getting any better, favoring her left foot as she walked. Trista asked Justin what had happen and he said they were," horsing around". (See my previous post for details as to the uncertainty of this incident.)
The Reynolds have said "Justin would only visit with Ayla if no one else was in Trista's apartment."
That doesn't seem to add up. Only 2 visits are unaccounted for, and if these two visits took place at Trista's apartment is unknown. It certainly doesn't seem like he would only visit Ayla if he could also be alone with Trista. That statement is misleading, and doesn't even attempt to address the numerous reasons why Justin would not want to be around Trista's friends or family. Trista was an alcoholic/drug addict. Maybe she had questionable associates. Jessica and Trista fought amongst themselves. Maybe they were volatile. Jessica obviously had a problem with Justin, she would not even let him take his own child.
Also, on 3 of the visits, Justin either used bad judgment or injured Ayla. How many times was Trista going to allow her baby girl to be injured before she cut off the visits? Justin could not have just shown up and took Ayla. Why did she agree to let Justin keep Ayla while she was in rehab? I think Trista wanted Justin to keep Ayla for that time, but her family was against that decision. Why? Jeff Hanson is even going as far as saying Justin "abducted" Ayla. That's a stretch.
"About Mid-September - Justin took Ayla to Chucky Cheese and she was returned with black and blue bruises the right side of her face and ear, photographs were taken. Justin said that he had put her in the "Ball Pit" and she got into a fight with two little boys."
ReplyDelete1.) Every other source for this information says that Justin told Trista "Ayla got into a fight with some other BABIES in the ball-pit at Chuck-E-Cheese.
The distinction IS important, as BABIES do NOT "get into fights", although older children, particularly "boys" MIGHT.
2.) You failed to mention that THERE IS NO BALL PIT at the Chuck-E-cheese restaurant in question..making his story INHERENTLY untruthful!
3.) Just because leaving visible bruises on Ayla was NOT a good idea, considering he was to return her to Ayla within hours, does NOT mean Justin DIDN'T do so.
Abuse of babies and toddlers by adults is USUALLY a temper-driven occurence.
If Justin has poor control of his temper, it is quite plausible that he would snap and lash out WITHOUT regard to something like "time constraints" or when Ayla was due back at her mom's.
We do not even have confirmation from any independent source that they in fact visited Chuck E. Cheese. Portland has at least one other place that is similar to Chuck E. Cheese, and there is a ball pit there.
DeleteI am not taking everything Trista says as fact. Did she follow up by taking Ayla to the doctor? Bruises to a child's face and ear could also result in damage to the brain.
Well, if you're not going to take Trista's version of events--the ONLY one available since Justin refuses to speak out--why not just refute that this event even HAPPENED in the first place?
DeleteIf Justin took his daughter to a different restaurant THAT DAY why couldn't he remember the name of it mere hours later??
I agree about your point that Trista SHOULD have taken Ayla to a doctor to be safe AND reported the incident to DHHS, though!
I am not doubting that JUSTIN didn't recall the name, MAYBE it's TRISTA who has the memory problem.
DeleteThis is Trista's story as usual her timeline. Not Justin's. I have not read anywhere where it says Justin said Ayla got into a fight in the ball pit. Someone should probably check out Trista's story because he did take her to Chucky Cheese. But there is no ball pit there. That is Trista's version not Justin's. Her time line is like a fairy tale. She just makes up stories puts them out there and people believe them. Just because she says it writes it down does not make it true. Once I saw purple cows flying. There I wrote you saw it it must be true.
Delete@obscure
DeleteIf these so-called bruises happened, just like Justin said, we can ask the same question of JUSTIN'S reaction:
Babies can suffer brain damage from blows to the head or face. Once he realized she was beat-up in this fashion, why didn't HE take Ayla to the ER immediately?
Because he SAW that she was fighting with two KIDS or BABIES. The incident he saw was probably not severe enough to warrant medical care. TRISTA on the other hand, was obviously suspicious of HOW the bruising happened. She implies that Justin, A FULL GROWN man caused the bruises. She should have taken the baby in.
DeleteNice try to flip that, though.
Nice try?
DeleteThat is called a "success".
Your argument was proved flimsy and equally applicable to EITHER parent.
Only one parent knew the TRUTH about what happened.
Deletethat parent is not trying to say the other parent did anything wrong.
The parent who thinks the other parent ABUSED her child did not seek medical care. Got it?
Oh look! Sierra is back. YAY!!!!! Pass the popcorn...
ReplyDeletePS- my husband certainly doesn't know the difference between Chuck E Cheese and JOKERS. Jokers DOES have a ball pit. They are both like Vegas for Kids. Maybe Justin took Ayla to Jokers?
Just a thought.
Justin took Ayla to Chucky Cheese and there was no ball pit Trista's timeline is wrong imagine that. Justin did not ever say she was in a ball pit or in a fight in it. Hmm weird.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, @Seriously, YOU have a good point!
ReplyDelete...Where he allowed "babies" to beat his daughter about the head and face, in the ball-pit??
ReplyDelete:/
Okay. I'll bite..
Say we make the huge leap of assuming that both the name of the restaurant is mixed up, AND JDiP is truthful in his tale of "babies beating up Ayla in the ball pit":
We're STILL left with a story, where at the very LEAST, Justin wasn't watching his daughter, even though he only had to do so for a "few short hours"!
What father would allow his child--a baby under 2 years of age--out of his sight in a crowded public place??
Whether it was Chuck-E-Cheese OR Jokers, NEITHER is a DAYCARE facility.
You CANNOT expect the staff to mind your kid FOR you, at a place like this!
:/
@Details Matter-
ReplyDeleteAyla's skin is very fair. That would lead me to believe that she may bruise easily (based on my fair skinned children). I would also be willing to bet that she was even slightly anemic. I highly doubt she was eating a well rounded diet while with Trista. And I would be SHOCKED if she was given vitamins.
My kids pretty much ALWAYS come home with bruises after playing at Jokers OR Chuck E Cheese. Why, you ask?? Because they are KIDS and they play HARD. The bounce all over the place, they throw themselves around in the ball pit, they bump into things/games when running 87 miles an hour towards a game that just opened up. Does this mean they are unsupervised? Hell no. I don't let them out of my sight. However....I don't keep them on a leash either.
Who says that he let her our of his sight?
Additionally, this "information" is only ONE sided. The only place this "information" was shared was on Trista's website. You know...where she also claims a large amount of blood was found in Justin's basement. However, LE has only confirmed that blood found in the basement was Ayla's. LE would NOT confirm the amount of age of blood. That makes the information purely speculation/rumors/assumptions etc.
Kids run around at Chuck E. Cheese. That doesn't amount to neglectful supervision. Did Trista ever take her eyes off of Ayla? Of course, she was a drunk!
ReplyDeleteYou're never going to hear about bruises/injuries in Trista's care, unless her FAMILY decides to tell the truth. IMO
Ummm. No.
ReplyDeleteSorry, but a child Ayla's age requires direct supervision in public at ALL times.
If she were older, say going on 4 years old rather than going on 2?
Then.. sure, I could see it happening!
But we are talking about a baby who was around 18 months old (if not YOUNGER) at the time of the alleged "ball-pit" debacle.
Some info on Trista's "best friend":
ReplyDeletehttp://bangordailynews.com/2012/03/15/news/midcoast/judge-throws-out-rockland-prisoner-escape-case/
"Ayla's skin is very fair. That would lead me to believe that she may bruise easily (based on my fair skinned children)."
ReplyDeleteThe assertion that fair skinned children "bruise more easily" is categorically false.
The bruising may be more APPARENT on fair skin, but capillaries of fair-skinned and dark-skinned humans are equally as "durable".
You also cannot declare Ayla "anemic" based on fair skin-tone, or assume what her diet was.
Seriously??
That is entirely baseless speculation.
@Details Matter- this is pretty much ALL "speculation". The verbal diarreah Trista's family is feeding the world, the countless blogs...ALL of it. VERY little information has been released by LE (therefore, deeming it a FACT and not speculation).
DeleteAre only "speculations" that make Justin look guilty allowed?
@Details Matter-
ReplyDeleteWho said he wasn't supervising her? He could have been standing outside of the ball pit watching her. It's a toddler area for KIDS ONLY. So, say Justin is right outside the play area watching Ayla while she plays. Maybe Ayla grabbed a ball from a little boy and he (being a NORMAL toddler) responded by grabbing it/pushing her/jumping on her to get it back. That would happen in SECONDS. Even if Justin was steps away- he still wouldn't be able to intercede. (KEEP IN MIND THIS IS JUST ONE OF A HUNDRED SCENARIOS that could have happened).
Do you have kids? Have they EVER gotten injured while in your care? Have they EVER gotten a bruise?
@Seriously
ReplyDeleteNormal toddlers Ayla's age DO NOT get into "fights".
Normal parents DO NOT place an 18 month old baby into an enclosed play area that they CANNOT access easily. Especially so, if older or rougher children are occupying it!
This story, just like all the others connected to JDiP, REEKS!
And, BTW:
There's only "one side" of the ball-pit story BECAUSE Justin will NOT speak out and give an alternate account.
Yes children bruise.
But, it's NOT so common with a baby, that it can be written off as an "everyday" occurance.
What are the chances that JDiP only has his daughter for a *couple of hours*, but she just so HAPPENS to return home bruised??
Not very likely.
Wow.. Justin must be one of the UNLUCKIEST schmucks alive, for all these "innocent coincidences" to have conspired together in this case, to make him look SO bad!!
One fact I'm positive of is Trista has a substance abuse problem.
ReplyDeleteObviously a serious enough problem to require rehab & treatment.
From past experience dealing with some with this problem,...I can't trust her dates & times. I know her memory can be clouded.
Depending...even her perception of things.
Agree 1000%. When is the word of a drug addict/alcoholic dependable? ONLY when her name is Trista Reynolds.
DeleteQ: When is the word of a small-time drug DEALER dependable??
DeleteA: It isn't*.
(*unless you ask "obscure", and it is in reference to a DiPietro brother)
It actually IS common for a 15-18 month old to have bruises. I can't count the number in my head my daughter has right now. She has an older brother who is constantly chasing her, taking things from her, and pushing her, and the roles are often reversed. At that age they are either just learning to walk, or just perfecting their walk/run and they fall, bump into things, and get in tough spots often. My daughter is very happy but very mischievous. Anything she can get into she will. And yes parents do put their children in play houses like that everyday! We take our children to the Maine Jump often and the play areas are enclosed for children. I don't see any reason why Ayla wouldn't be placed in a jump house or a ball pit at 15-18 months old to play! Shes a child, thats what kids do!
ReplyDeleteAnd when my husband takes the kids to the playground for 2 hours and comes home with them, they both usually are dirty and have at least one bruise from running and tripping, or falling coming off the slide. Do I ever think my husband would let this happen on purpose? No way. But they're children. It happens. DAILY.
Did Trista know that Justin got a LIP on Ayla?
ReplyDeleteThe drug dealer thing is not a fact...another rumor that was turned into fact by bloggers that started at the SA site. 'magine that.
ReplyDeleteTrolls, please stop commenting for Selena, everyone know she can't spell worth a shit. lol
ReplyDeleteLies, if I were you, I would let Anon(s) post, no one else is posting on here besides your alter egos. hmmmm, lmao
1. Where is the official statement by Justin himself that any of the above took place?
ReplyDeleteUnless you have that, then the rest is moot because there's no proof it happened.
